1. Service scope
Pedido de Actas Italianas provides professional management of requests for civil records held by Italian comuni. We review the information supplied by the customer, prepare the request, contact the relevant authority and communicate updates by email.
The service is not genealogical or historical research. If the available details are insufficient or the record cannot be located, work does not automatically expand into an investigation. Any different or additional service must be proposed and accepted separately.
2. Information supplied by the customer
Historical details in the form are optional. The customer is responsible for checking the information included in the review email and replying with approval or corrections. Work begins on the basis of the information approved by the customer.
The service does not use an application database in this first version. Submitted information may nevertheless remain in continuation links, browser history, service logs and sent or received email.
3. Service prices
The first copy of each distinct certificate request costs €50. Each additional copy of the same certificate costs €25. When birth and marriage certificates are both requested from the same comune, a single €20 discount applies to the combined service subtotal.
An optional shipping insurance costs €10 per order, not per certificate or copy. Prices are shown in euros. The estimate sent after the form is reviewed may be updated only for the separate costs described below or for changes authorized by the customer.
4. Advance and remaining balance
The initial advance is €20. It forms part of the service total; it is not added on top of the €50 base price. The estimated remaining service balance is the service total less the advance, before shipping, authority charges and other later additions.
No payment is collected inside the request form. The customer receives a private payment link by email. Bank transfer, Stripe and PayPal may be offered when configured. The payment page shows the included administrative expenses before payment: no added expense for bank transfer, 5% for Stripe and 8.5% for PayPal.
5. Shipping and external costs
Shipping is not calculated in the initial form. The available shipping method and cost are researched after the request is reviewed and are confirmed before final payment.
Public authorities may charge their own fees. Taxes, administrative expenses, payment commissions and public-authority charges are external to the initial service estimate and are billed separately when applicable. The customer will be informed before an additional amount is requested.
6. Telephone follow-up
Telephone follow-up with a comune is not included automatically. If it becomes useful, the customer will receive a proposal and must authorize and pay for it before the call is made. The price is €50 per comune that requires follow-up. A later payment link is issued for this purpose.
7. Shipping insurance
If shipping insurance is selected and the postal service loses or damages the envelope, we repeat the management work without an additional service charge. The cost of a new shipment remains payable. Insurance does not create a guarantee about the conduct, timing or response of a public authority or postal operator.
8. Public-authority decisions and timing
Italian comuni and other public authorities operate independently. Pedido de Actas Italianas cannot guarantee that a record exists, that an authority will issue it, or that it will respond or deliver within a particular time. We communicate the status and any relevant response received while performing the agreed management service.
9. Customer communication
The customer should keep the request reference and reply to the review email to approve information, send corrections, add relevant details or ask for help. When paying by bank transfer, the customer should attach proof of payment to the reply.
10. Changes after confirmation and additional charges
Once the customer has confirmed the request and it has been sent to the relevant comune, any change to the information provided, modification of the request, request for additional copies, addition of new information, or any other instruction that alters or complicates the normal process will incur additional charges. In each case, we will inform the customer of the scope and amount of those charges and request their express approval before undertaking any additional work.
